Homer is a veteran digital marketer and publisher. He is an expert in creating and implementing strategic campaigns for businesses and clients across industries, and positions tech startups for profitable capital infusions (Seed/Series A-D), joint ventures and buy-outs.
As a people-person, Homer has led and managed through tough times and has helped restructure organizations that have lost their zeal and direction towards profit. He believes that a healthy company culture is essential to its long-term profitability. He has built and managed Philippine sales this way for Manpower (USA), the top global employment services organization.
Homer also built the Philippine business for MSN (under Impaq Interactive) as country head, while grabbing the Southeast Asia Best Performing Team award only 3 months into the job. He was concurrent Business Director at Admax Network, having nurtured local single sites and folding them into the network. At Friendster (MOL Global) and Multiply as global head, commercial partnerships and ad operations for both companies, Homer successfully drove revenues and partnerships across various markets while creating value for both companies, while priming them for buyouts.
Homer was Chief Executive of Bazinga Inc., a tech company that created social platforms. Homer managed the strategic direction of the company and its offices of 100+ people that spanned 3 continents (US, UK and Philippines). He sold all his shares in early 2014.
Homer speaks and consults on digital entrepreneurship, startups and revenue strategy. He currently runs a consulting practice and a venture development firm, and is a Certified Distance Educator.
